As the core interest demand for promoting harmony between humanity and nature, ecological interests have the characteristics of era contemporaneity, coexistence with other interests, and extensibility. Providing a comprehensive response to and expression of ecological interests is a crucial requirement for constructing a legal system that advances harmony between humanity and nature. This objective should be achieved through the coordination of laws at different levels. Through the coordination between laws and intra-Party regulations, we can achieve the transformation and innovation of “ecologicalization” of the legal system driven by intra-Party regulations as well as facilitate integration and coordination between the two, thereby embodying and regulating the CPC's leadership over the construction of a legal system that fosters harmony between humanity and nature and fully capturing the contemporary nature of ecological interests. Furthermore, through the coordination between traditional branches of law and environmental law, we can establish an interest evaluation and transformation mechanism guided by ecological interests, thereby ensuring the realization of ecological interests in the process of promoting the coexistence of ecological and economic interests. Finally, through the coordination between legislation targeting individual environmental elements and systemic environmental legislation and with the specialization of environmental justice as the primary path, we can enhance the overall comprehensiveness and systematic nature of environmental laws in expressing ecological interests and adequately address the demands for extending ecological interests driven by the aspiration for a “more beautiful environment”. |
